What Is New Media Marketing?

New Media Marketing is what I like to call “Rapport Marketing”.  The whole premise behind New Media Marketing is to develop a sincere and transparent rapport with consumers.  New Media Marketing is founded on the premise of encouraging those clients and consumers to provide transparent feedback regarding the quality of a product or service.  This transparent feedback will enable the consumer to get a better [...]

The Race To Finish Simply JavaScript Is A Marathon, Not A Sprint

Hey People,

Well, I didn’t reach my goal of finishing Simply JavaScript by this past Saturday.  I desparately tried, but my schedule is way too hectic.  Oh, you thought I gave up.  Oh no!  I have a new plan now.  I am going to work diligently to finish and understand this book by the end of this month.  I really only have Thursday, Friday and Saturday to look at the book, so those will be my only days during the week.  I will take Sunday off.  Sounds like a workout plan, huh?  Well, please pray for my success and I will certainly be doing the same for you as you attempt to reach your New Year’s resolutions.  Talk to you later people.  God bless.

Still In The Race for Simply JavaScript

Good Morning People,

How are you today?  Well, last night I didn’t quite finish Chapter 3, so the plans have to be revised to stay on goal.  Current plan is to finish Chapter 3 this evening.  Do Chapters 4 and 5 on Thursday, Chapter 6 and 7  on Friday and finish with Chapters 8 and 9 on Saturday.  Well, just wanted to give you a quick update on my progress and for those of you just tuning in I am reading and working through a book from Sitepoint called “Simply JavaScript“.  I am teaching myself JavaScript.  So far it is an awesome book and I can’t wait to develop some solutions centered around what I am learning from this book.  Have a great day and God bless.

Geek or Jock?

Hey People,

Just wanted to share a little video of me after a 2.2  mile run this morning.  I am a bit of a hybrid.  I am 100% geek and 100% jock, but I have been neglecting the jock side for the past couple of months.  Today I started training again and I hope that everyone is meeting their resolutions.  I look forward to bringing more videos as I reach for my goals this year.  Oh by the way, I finished Chapter 2 from Simply JavaScript.  Awesome!  Well, take care and God bless.  Talk to you later.

What Happens When You Fall Behind?

Well, I have fallen behind, especially since I watched the Super Bowl.  Wow!  That was an incredible game.  Anyway, I am about two chapters behind, so how should I handle being behind?  When I was running track in high school and I would fall behind in a race my coach would always tell me to hang in there and pick up my knees to finish strong.  That is exactly what I am going to do here.  I am going to hang in there and finish strong by completing Chapter 2 tonight, then pick up with Chapter 3 tomorrow.  I will be off my goal by a a couple of days, but I will get through this book and should be able to develop some really nice solutions once I am done.  Well, gotta do some more reading to finish Chapter 2 tonight.  Talk to you tomorrow.  God bless.

Simply JavaScript

Well, I have just made a 9 day goal to complete this book.  There are 9 chapters and so far I have to catch up on Chapter 2 and 3.  I should be able to get back on track and have the completed by February 9, 2008.  I am determine to work on improving skills day by day, covering one chapter each day.  Let’s see how my goal setting and getting goes this month.  I will check back in more often and give a day by day report of my progress.  Well, have to finish watching the SuperBowl and then finish up Chapter 2 and 3.  See you tomorrow when I finish Chapter 4.

Desktop Teleprompter

This is an early morning demonstration of my desktop teleprompter.  I made this video to show my friend Otis over at otiscollier.com, how this thing really works.  I talked to him about it, but he hadn’t seen it in action.  Later, he is going to come over and really get a bird’s eye view of this teleprompter.  So stay tuned for a future video on this desktop teleprompter.
